The oldest church in Veselí (the middle of the 13th century as to the surviving Roman-Gothic elements) at a crossroads in the town centre.
The first written record comes from 1360. After the new parish church had been built, the St. Mary’s church was used especially for burial ceremonies. The cemetery surrounding the church was liquidated in 1834.
