Under the top of the hill Žerotín is located so called Hotařská búda (Hotař's cottage). It is a historic building surrounded by vineyards, which used to serve as a base to local men guarding the vineyard from thieves.

In the past it was also a place for the traditional deed of "zarážání hory", which was an important historical and legal act. Today the cottage serves mostly for various cultural and folklore events as "Strážnické kosení" or above mentioned "Zarážání hory". In the cottage there is also an exhibition of viniculture in tre Strážnicko region with a possibility to taste local wines. The cottage is open for public in July and August on Saturdays and Sundays.
