In 2005 was in Kněždub reopened for public the reconstructed house of Joža and Franta Uprka, the famous brothers and authors of the art and sculpture work with the Moravian Slovakia theme. They were also the main instigators of te cultural rise of the whole region in the first half of the 20th century.
The house was reconstructed on the basis of surviving photos and records. It is a typical example of a "clay house" bult at the time. The House is listed as a national cultural minument, registered by the Ministry of Culture Czech Republic. Nowadays the house serves as a permanent exhibition of the work of Uprka brothers, historic furniture and period interiors.
The house and the exhibition os open for public every day from May till September.
In the village is also located a birthplace of another painter - Antoš Frolka and Slovácký slavín - a place of final rest of the above mentioned artists.
