We are located in the Natural Reserve White Carpathians, in particular in the part called "Horňácko".
A wooden observation tower is located at the hilllock Drahy (360 m) neraby the train station Javorník. The tower is 20 m tall. Local name "Vápenka" or "Nad Vápenkou" is related to the former mine located in this this area.
In 2005 was in Kněždub reopened for public the reconstructed house of Joža and Franta Uprka, the famous brothers and authors of the art and sculpture work with the Moravian Slovakia theme. They were also the main instigators of te cultural rise of the whole region in the first half of the 20th century.
On the partially wooded hill (398 m) is situated a prehitoric fortified settlement.
In the outskirts of the village Kozojídky is situated a wine site called "Kříb"
